A programming library has been developed to provide information about the emotional state of the player thanks to information about the size of the eye pupil and other measured parameters. The parameters obtained for analysis are derived from the video stream obtained from the VR goggles.
The measurement is conducted in an uncontacting, unnoticeable manner for the subject, and is objective and more reliable than a behavioral measurement based on a subjective description of the subject's emotional state. It uses technology built into existing VR devices, so additional consumables such as electrodes or gels used in traditional measurements are not necessary. The solution can be implemented on most VR devices used for both home and business use. This method of measurement is widely used, among other things, in VR games, training and VR simulations for rescue and uniforms.
